Executive Assistant
Location: Leeds (Hybrid – 3 days per week in the office)
Salary: £38,000 – £42,000 + benefits
Cognisys is a fast-growing global cyber security business, trusted by some of the world’s best-known organisations to protect their systems, data and operations. As we continue to scale internationally, we are looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to support our Directors and help ensure the business operates efficiently at leadership level.
This is a high-trust, high-impact role at the heart of the organisation. You will work closely with 2–3 Directors, including the CEO, acting as a key partner in managing priorities, coordinating activity and ensuring leadership can focus on strategic and commercial delivery.
We are looking for someone highly organised, pragmatic and proactive — someone who takes ownership, anticipates needs and thrives in a fast-paced, professional environment.
The Role
You will play a critical role in enabling the executive team to operate effectively, including:
Managing complex diaries, priorities and meeting schedules across multiple stakeholders
Overseeing executive inboxes and ensuring timely, professional communication
Coordinating UK and international travel arrangements
Organising internal and external events, including leadership meetings, sales conferences and company events
Supporting leadership planning rhythms, meetings and follow-ups
Maintaining a professional, organised and well-run Leeds HQ environment, including facilities coordination
Using modern productivity and AI tools to improve organisation, efficiency and delivery
Support key projects and initiatives as required, helping ensure delivery timelines are met
Attend board / SLT meetings to manage agendas, key minutes and action points
You will act as a trusted partner to senior leadership, helping ensure focus, clarity and operational effectiveness.
About you
You will bring:
5+ years’ experience as an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant supporting senior leaders
Confidence using modern productivity tools and AI to enhance efficiency
Experience managing multiple executives, priorities and inboxes simultaneously
Exceptional organisation, attention to detail and follow-through
Strong judgement, professionalism and discretion
Experience organising conferences, events or leadership offsites is an advantage
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive, calm and solutions-focused approach
