Oct 2017
Cognisys Group Limited was officially incorporated on 27th October 2017, marking the formal establishment of the company (used as a one-man consulting vehicle by Steve Spence)
2019
Cognisys was formed with the ambition to improve the cyber security of every organisation it touches, with 4 employees

Cognisys achieved CREST accreditation, recognising its expertise in cyber security penetration testing / Cognisys achieved ISO 27001, ISO 9001 accreditation

Manchester office opens/SmartScan 2.0 released, first multi-year VCISO contracts signed
